Induktivní studium Bible: pozorování, interpretace, zobecnění, aplikace, implementace

Krok 1. Pozorování (Observation): Co text říká (What does the text say)?

a) Situace (the setting)
· kdo ke komu promlouvá (who is the speaker and to whom)
· příležitost – proč to bylo napsáno (occasion-why was it written)
· jaké byly historické okolnosti (what historical circumstance)
· kde to bylo napsáno a kde žili adresáti (where was it
written and to which place of the recipient)

b) Souvislosti (the context)
· Literární forma oddílu – perikopa [evangelia]; odstavec
[epištoly] (the literary form of the passage- pericope [Gospels]
paragraph [epistles])
· Celkový kontext knihy – jak oddíl zapadá do celkového
poselství knihy (the overall context of the book- how the passage/text
fits the message of the book)
· Bezprostřední kontext oddílu (immediate context of the passage)

c) Struktura literární (Literary structure)
· Slova a věty, které se opakují (Repeated words or phrases)
· Literární forma knihy (Literary form of the book)
· Klíčová věta nebo klíčové slovo (Key sentence or word)
· Literární rysy – inkluze; citace, duchovní písně (Literary
features- inclusion; citations- creedal songs)

Krok 2. Interpretace (Interpretation): Co text znamená (What does it mean)?

a) Význam textu jak jej chápali původní čtenáři ve svém
historickém kontextu (meaning of the text to original readers and
historical context)
b) Shoda s ostatním učením Bible (consistent to other teaching in
the Bible)
c) Shoda s kontextem knihy a Bible (consistent to the textual context)
d) Shoda s běžným samozřejmým významem [doslovné čtení nebo
interpretace] (consistent to common obvious meaning ['literal reading
or interpretation']

Krok 3. Zobecnění (Generalization): Co je ta "veliká myšlenka" (What
is the „big idea")?

a) Propojení světa Bible s moderním světem studenta: kulturní,
jazykové a historické mezery (Bridging the world of the Bible and the
modern students: cultural, language, historical gap)
b) Předávání biblické pravdy relevantním způsobem, který vede k
transformaci životů (Communicate biblical truth relevantly for the
purpose of life transformation)
c) „Veliká myšlenka" rovná se prohlášení, ústřední téma,
tvrzení, ústřední princip, tematické zaměření, jednoticí princip ("big
idea" equals proposition, central theme, thesis statement, central
principle, thematic focus, unifying principle)
d) Co říká autor? Co si myslí o tom, co říká? (What is the author
saying? What are his thoughts on what he is saying?)

Krok 4. Aplikace (Application): Smysluplné spojení biblického
vyučování s každodenním životem (Meaningful connection between
biblical teaching and contemporary living)
a) Interpretace předchází aplikaci. Text je aplikován do praxe,
a nikoliv praxe do textu, kdy si jen dohledáváme verše na podporu
toho, co děláme (Interpretation precedes application. The text is
applied practically not decide on practice and finding a scripture to
justify the practice)
b) Zaměření na biblické odpovědi týkající se běžných problémů
(Focus on biblical answers to common issues)
c) Bůh si přeje, aby se Písma prakticky aplikovala. Je v textu
něco, co je třeba se učit a zachovávat? Je zde nějaké napomenutí či
náprava, která by se měla uskutečnit? Jaké jsou paralely mezi textem a
naším kontextem? S čím se můžeme ztotožnit? Jakému chování se vůči
Bohu mohu se z textu naučit? (Scriptures must be applied as God
intended it to be. "is there a teaching in the text to be learned and
followed"; "Is this a rebuke or correction to be heeded?" What common
parallels are there between the text and our context? What can we
identify with? What response to God can I learn from the text.)

Krok 5. Implementace (Implementation): Co musím změnit? (What Must I Change)?
a) Dobré vyučování vede ke změnám myšlení, postojů, chování a k
rozhodnutí udělat něco praktického a hmatatelného, a to na základě
porozumění Písma, jehož jsme dosáhli. Srov Jakub 2 (Good teaching
